Perimeter Journal

Privacy

Perimeter Journal has no way to identify a reader, and the sections below explain why that is a matter of construction rather than of policy.

Keeping This Accurate

If the site ever changes in a way that affects this description, the description changes with it. It is written to reflect the site as it stands, not as an aspiration.

The Hosting Layer

The site is delivered through a hosting provider whose infrastructure sees each request. Like any web host it processes the technical request data needed to deliver a page, including the requesting address, and retains it briefly for security and operational purposes. That processing sits with the host and is common to essentially all web hosting.

No Analytics

There is no analytics package on this site. Nothing measures who visits or what they read.

Nothing to Submit

There is no form, no comment box, no newsletter signup and no account. The pages are documents to be read, and nothing more interactive than that.

Nothing Is Stored

Nothing is written to the device a reader arrives on. A reader arrives, reads a document, and leaves nothing behind.

Leaving This Site

Some pages link to other websites. What happens after that point is between the reader and whoever operates that site.
